Meet The Maker

Hi there!

My name is Jessica Lynne. I will tell you that for as long as I can remember, I’ve been a crafty person. At 8, I told my parents I wanted to take sewing lessons (normal kids want to do sports, but not me), from there I taught myself to knit, dabbled in scrap booking for a bit and most recently have taken to creating these custom, hand painted signs and home decor for all of you. I love that it is a combination of woodworking (I can say I own multiple saws now!), creativity and craftiness.  

I started Shine Designs in 2017. Travis and I were moving to a new house that was so adorable, I couldn’t wait to decorate! I started with signs, but have ventured from there into other home decor items – towels, pillows and more!

I currently live in Bedford, IN with my husband, Travis, and our pups, Gustavo and Rico. Trav is beyond supportive and Gustavo is a great shop dog who keeps me company when we’re down working in the shop.
